The Principal Health and Wellbeing Special Survey Series

The survey series are smaller and complementary to the annual Australian Principal Occupational Health & Wellbeing Survey conducted by Professor Philip Riley (Deakin University) and Sioau-Mai See (Australian Catholic University)

The Special Survey Series will investigate a range of topics that impact on the life and wellbeing of school leaders throughout the year. Most recently, the impact of COVID-19, community remote learning and the 2021 new year environment.

Surveys are confidential and results will be shared with all registered participants with the ability to receive a comprehensive and personalised report on findings. These can be benchmarked against the general community and peers.

Pathways to equity in Australian Schools

In late 2020, Pivot Professional Learning, in partnership with the Coalition of Australian Principals, invited principals of primary and secondary schools across Australia to participate in an online survey concerning their experiences during the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. A total of 456 principals and other leaders across the government, Catholic and independent sectors responded to the survey.
