Australian Primary Principals Association (APPA)
The Australian Primary Principals Association was formed in 1974. APPA represents approximately 7600 primary school leaders from the Government, Independent and Catholic education sectors across Australia.
APPA supports and advocates for primary school principals, the education and wellbeing of primary school students and the work of primary school communities across Australia.
APPA works closely with the Federal Government through the office of the Minister; parliamentary representatives including through Parliamentary Friends of Primary Education; the Commonwealth Department of Education, Skills and Employment; AITSL, ACARA and ESA.
