Andy takes the role of ASPA President from outgoing lead Andrew Pierpoint in October, 2023. Andy is a an experienced and versatile educator who has worked as a teacher and school leader in various settings across Australia.
He has led and managed schools of different sizes, levels, and specialisations, as well as delivered innovative programs in performing arts, digital education, and vocational training.
He has also contributed to the development of the Australian Curriculum in the arts and the implementation of remote learning and vaccination initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic. Andy is passionate about providing quality education for all students, especially those in remote and disadvantaged communities.
