Ms Falkenberg, a current board member of APPA, comes to the position of President after building an impressive career in education across the Northern Territory and South Australia.
This includes holding senior school leadership positions across both Primary and Secondary Schools, being President of the South Australian Primary Principals Association and bringing with her extensive experience in the education of First Nation children.
Ms Falkenberg, who takes the role from retiring President Malcolm Elliott, said that she was excited to take on the role of an organisation with the credibility of APPA, an organisation that provides a voice to over 7,600 public, catholic and independent school principals across the country.
